Refund & Return Policy

At Tech Pros Texas, we pride ourselves on delivering professional, high-quality technology solutions. Our goal is to ensure your system works exactly as promised. We want to be fair and helpful, but because we are a service-based business, we have specific guidelines regarding refunds and returns.

1. Our "Make It Right" Service Guarantee

We do not offer cash refunds on labor or completed services. However, we stand by our work.

If you are experiencing issues resulting from our installation or workmanship, please contact us within 30 days of your service date.

If we messed up: We will return to your property to troubleshoot and correct the installation error at no charge to you.

The Goal: We want you to have a working system. We will work diligently to fix the issue rather than refunding the service call.

2. Specific Policy on Cabling & Infrastructure

Please Read Carefully:

Due to the nature of custom low-voltage work, all sales are final on cabling and wiring materials.

Cut-to-Length: Fiber optic, Ethernet (Cat5e/Cat6), and Coaxial cables are cut specifically for your property. Once a cable is cut from the spool, it cannot be returned.

Permanent Installation: Cables run through walls, attics, conduits, or underground are considered permanent fixtures. We will not remove installed cabling for a refund.

No "Buy Backs": We cannot accept returns on leftover or scrap cable generated during your specific installation.

3. Hardware & Equipment Returns

We understand that sometimes product needs change. However, once a product is unboxed, it loses its "New" status.

A. Defective Hardware (Dead on Arrival)

If a device we supplied and installed is defective out of the box or fails within 30 days:

We will facilitate the exchange for a working unit at no additional cost for the hardware.

Note: If the manufacturer requires a specific warranty process (RMA), we will assist you in navigating that process.

B. "Change of Mind" / Buyer's Remorse

Unopened Items: You may return unopened, factory-sealed products within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, minus a 15% restocking fee.

Opened Items (Non-Refundable): We cannot accept returns on opened, used, or installed hardware unless defective.

Important: If we unbox a product to install, mount, or configure it for you, that item is considered "Opened" and is Final Sale. We cannot accept it back simply because you changed your mind, as it can no longer be sold as new.

4. Non-Refundable Items & Services

To avoid any confusion, the following are Final Sale and strictly non-refundable:

Labor Charges: Once a technician has performed the work, the time cannot be returned.

Trip Charges: Fees for dispatching a technician to your location.

Software & Licenses: Once a code is redeemed, it cannot be returned.

Custom Orders: Any equipment specifically ordered for your unique project (e.g., custom server racks, non-stock mounts).

5. Cancellation Policy

We respect your time and ask that you respect ours.

48-Hour Notice: You may cancel or reschedule your appointment without penalty if you provide at least 48 hours' notice.

Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time are subject to a $45 Cancellation Fee to compensate our technicians for the lost slot.
